The degree belongs to the Italian academic class L-3 and is part of the official Italian university system. Graduates who wish to continue their studies or pursue professional opportunities abroad should verify the academic recognition or admission requirements applicable in the destination country or institution.
This degree program is taught entirely in Italian. International applicants are expected to have an adequate level of Italian proficiency to attend classes, participate in creative workshops, and analyze theatrical and cinematic texts effectively.
Non-EU students residing abroad must follow the admission and pre-enrollment procedures required for studying in Italy. This generally includes submitting a pre-enrollment application through the official Universitaly portal and completing the study visa process. Our international admissions office provides guidance on deadlines and documentation.
To enroll in an Italian university, students are generally required to have completed at least 12 years of primary and secondary education. If your school system provides only 10 or 11 years, you may enroll in a Foundation Year, subject to the applicable admission requirements, in order to meet this requirement and prepare for university study.
