Structure of the Pharmacy Program

The degree program spans five years for a total of 300 ECTS credits, divided into a preparatory two-year period and a specialized three-year period.

  • Preparatory Two-Year Period: provides the essential foundational knowledge required to tackle specialized disciplines. Subjects include biological, chemical, physiological, pathophysiological, and medical sciences.
  • Specialized Three-Year Period: deepens the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for the pharmacy profession, focusing on information and education regarding the correct use of medicines and health products, including phytotherapeutics and nutraceuticals.

Practical Evaluative Internship (TPV)

The course includes a mandatory six-month practical evaluative internship, to be completed in a community or hospital pharmacy under the supervision of a professional tutor and an academic tutor, in accordance with Italian regulations.
